IMSTAR is pleased to announce that it will make several communications, in cooperation with international scientific partners, at the 2013 International Comet Assay Workshop (ICAW 2013) September 18th – 19th, 2013 in Porto ,Portugal,, held in conjunction with the 2nd International Conference on Occupational and Environmental Toxicology (ICOETox 2013).

Since its creation, IMSTAR has been involved with scientists around the world, most notably as a member of high-profile consortia sponsored by the European Commission, to develop new analysis protocols for quantitative cellular DNA damage and repair analysis. In Porto, IMSTAR will join four of its partners: the University of Oslo, Department of Nutrition (Norway), the National Institute of Health, Division of Environmental Medicine (Oslo, Norway) on the one hand, the National Research Center for the Working Environment (Copenhagen, Denmark) and the Technical University of Denmark, National Food Institute (Söborg, Denmark) on the other hand, to present the results of joint development of high-throughput comet assays with IMSTAR fully-automated scoring system for high-content imaging.
