CISH FISH M-FISH & Chromosome Rearrangements

The Pathfinder™ FluoSpot module allows fully automated detection and quantitation of FISH signal in interphase and metaphase cells for research or diagnostic purposes. The FluoSpot module can be applied to detection of oncogene amplification, gene fusion, telomere depletion or any other kind of chromosome rearrangement in interphase cytogenetics. On metaphase, standard FISH observations can be performed such as gene or telomere deletion.

Rapid and very high resolution image capture assuring exceptional visual quality, accurate and reliable quantitation, with user-friendly and powerful analysis software, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant technology.

Important features of image capture and analysis include:

  • Pre-setting for capture on each slide, hands-free image capture including fast auto-focus. Four slides may be processed in the same batch
  • Automated z-stack for capture of out-of-focus spots for each probe
  • Display of each cell in image gallery for visual inspection and interactive correction of artefacts
  • Automated and instant calculation of number of spots per cell for each probe, amount of co-localized signals per cell including labelling index (rate of positive cells in total population)
  • High interactivity on result analysis: subpopulations can be selected on graphics and displayed object by object for visual inspection
  • Automated display of results as graphics: histograms, scatter plots
  • Highly sophisticated tools for data analysis: automated curve fitting for histograms and cluster analysis of 2D scatter plots

  • Automated and instant calculation of gene amplification level per cell with correction for cell ploidy
  • High interactivity on results analysis: subpopulations can be selected on graphics and displayed object by object for visual inspection
  • Highly sophisticated tools for data analysis: automated curve fitting for histograms and cluster analysis of 2D scatter plots
  • Automated display of results as graphics: 1D histograms, 2D scatter plots
