IMSTAR benefits from an acknowledged expertise in detection of cellular contours, even with confluent cells.
Errors in the detection of cellular contours are usually lower than 2% using the Pathfinder™ image cytometer, depending on the conditions of preparation for the cells. These outstanding performances enable reliable study of cellular or intra-cellular phenomena thanks to Pathfinder™'s resolution (0,3 µm) and intra-cellular signals detection capabilities, as applied in FISH studies or micronuclei testing.
Beyond traditional phenotypical characterization, Pathfinder™ platform enables morphological characterization of every individual cell in huge amounts of cells. These cellular morphology features are of crucial importance for complex phenotyping. At IMSTAR, we adapt the complexity, and thus accuracy, of the detection protocols to the objective to reach in term of optimal morphological characterization.
Performances:
Time for capture and analysis of the samples depends on the quality of the samples and the complexity of the analysis, but in most cases, the full process takes less than 10 minutes for a 96-wells plate and may be as fast as 5 minutes per plate.
