Apart from general tools for tissue imaging and cell detection upon different labels, the Pathfinder™ technology enables precise quantitation of FISH & CISH signals on tissue samples, including tissue micro-arrays, tumoral cytopunction, especially useful in the fields of cancer research & diagnostic.

The Pathfinder™ FluoSpot module enables fully automated detection and quantitation of FISH signals in interphase and metaphase cells for research or diagnostic purposes. The FluoSpot module can be applied for detection of oncogene amplification, gene fusion or depletion.

Dedicated FluoSpot software enables automated detection and quantitation of oncogene amplification:

  • Automated and instant calculation of gene amplification level per cell with correction for cell ploidy
  • High interactivity on result analysis: subpopulations can be selected on graphics and displayed object by object for visual inspection
  • Automated display of results as graphics: 1D histograms, 2D scatter plots
  • Highly sophisticated tools for data analysis: automated curve fitting on histograms and cluster analysis of 2D scatter plots
