Tissue Micro Array (TMA) represents a revolution in the field of pathology. IMSTAR has developed a comprehensive solution for TMA creation, capture and analysis. A semi-automated Beecher™ arrayer allows a computer-assisted creation of the TMA with single entry identification of the punches until the end of the analysis: simplicity, safety, traceability and reproducibility.
After scanning of the TMA, the punches are automatically detected and identified. If a manual arrayer is used, identification of the punches can be performed with a one-click drag and drop function from any compatible application (e.g. MS Excel). The punches are then captured in a completely automatically and a broad range of analysis may be performed (detection of cells, proteins, multi-label and multi-parametric analysis, sub-populations isolation, in bright-field or in fluorescence).
Performances:
After the whole TMA pre-scan in few seconds, each punch is individually captured (1 punch per second) at a resolution compatible with fully automated analysis and further review by the pathologist.
