CerviK™ is a revolutionary approach for mass screening of high-grade cervix cancer. Combination of Generic Vision (Pr. Hammou, Nice, France) monolayer preparation of cervix samples and IMSTAR CerviK™ sample capture, Feulgen-stained nuclei detection and analysis provides fully automated processing of 200 samples per batch. Less than 10% of them will need review by conventional Pap smear method by a pathologist for high-grade lesions identifications.
Within a complete screening program involving also samples collection and preparation, CerviK™ is a choice tool for mass screening of populations lacking conventional cervix cancer screening methods over years.
